LONG OVER LONG
The trend toward wearing dresses over pants, prevalent on Pre-fall presentations, influences a new long-over-long proportion for the tunic set. The long and languid sets appear in both knit and woven versions, and are designed so that each piece is strong enough to be worn on its own. The midi-length top can be a minimalist cylinder, a softly draped pullover or a tailored button-front style with shirttails. The sets work in solids, prints or graphic color-blocking, and can be interpreted for lounge, workdays or evening. While most of the dress-tunics are waistless shifts, pant shapes can be narrow, slouchy or flared.
